Finally, FDA did approve it 2 years ago, but still mostly you can buy it on line only.I have reaction on sun UVA rays, so I buy usually SPF 60-70, but this spray I buy for my husband. He loves protection it gives and he still get tan without burning.

(More customer reviews)I received a sample of this stuff in one of those "free" gifts you get at Macy's for purchasing $50.00 of whatever is promoted at the time. With shin that is allergic to EVERYTHING-I am very hesitant to try any new product on my face. It has proven darn near impossible to find a moisturizer that does not leave an ugly red rash or leave my skin feeling like paper. But this stuff is FABULOUS! Pricy, yes, but it is awesome-goes on great & my skin feels incredible soft & luscious. I am forking out a bit more cash then I am confortable with but after years of not finding anything that actually works-my skin needs all the help it can get at this point. LOVE IT!

For those of you who don't want these garbage chemicals on your little one's skin, this is not the ideal sun protective lotion. I'm quite vexed that the ingredients listed on this web page does not show that this product does actually contain parabens; so, I was mislead by this description. I wanted this item because of the Mexoryl SX and XL, which are the ultimate UVA protectors for the skin. I will not be buying this particular item again! Some of the La Roche-Posay products are paraben free, so I'm going to stick to that brand. I love that brand and shouldn't have strayed to try another. Lesson learned!

(More customer reviews)This is the best facial SPF lotion I have used. I had a melanoma (stage 1) on my forehead removed and am at risk the rest of my life. It is not greasy, and does not block my pores. It is slightly tinted so I do not look like a ghost after application. a small amount goes a long way and I feel that this product really protects me. This product has Mexoryl, which is supposed to be the best longest lasting stuff as most are photosensitive and last less than an hour. I apply this every day to my face. Not for use on the rest of the body.

I don;t have any reaction, breakouts etc. Also smell is nice, flowery, like lily of the valley. I use it everyday on my face and neck for last 2 months and still have about 40% left.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid for Face, 1.7-Ounce Bottle Review

(More customer reviews)This version of "Anthelios" does not contain mexoryl, which is the most effective UV-A blocking agent. Don't buy this version of "Anthelios;" instead, look at the other Anthelios products that DO contain mexoryl. If you want a non-mexoryl sunscreen (which I don't recommend, since they are less effective against UV-A), then go with the Neutrogena productd that contain "helioplex," The lower SPF "dry touch" versions are reasonably effective, feel better on the skin than any other sunscreen I've tried, and are way cheaper than this product.
Having said that, the mexoryl-based sunscreens are more effective than the Neutrogena, so are probably worth the extra cost. Bear in mind that UV-A causes cancer, but not sunburn. A sunscreen that protects against sunburn, is not an effective anti-cancer agent unless it also protects against UV-A. Most sunscreens that claim UV-A protection only provided it for half an hour or so. Mexoryl, on the other hand, lasts several hours.
