Floral notes are discovered in blue lotus, rose and orange blossom all underscored by seductive tones of musk, sandalwood, incense, and vanilla.
This exquisite scent was in all likelihood inspired by the blue lily or lotus which was of deep significance to the Egyptian people. The symbol of this flower is found in tombs and temples throughout Egypt. According to legend, when the lily opened a young god was seen sitting in its center and a sweet perfume drifted across the water while light came forth. The young god was the Sun God, source of all life.
Inspired by a god and fit for a goddess, this fragrance is housed in the elegant Roger & Gallet signature bottle.
This is a loved addition to my perfume collection as the scent is light yet mysterious. For special occasions I layer it by first using the Lotus Bleu Shower Gel then spritzing with the fragrance.
