It is very light but gives excellent coverage so you don't feel like you are wearing foundation at all. I tried the mineral powder makeup and if you have the tiniest bit of dry skin it shows all flaws plus makes your skin feel dry and tight. Excellent product!

(More customer reviews)I was having trouble finding a foundation to match my skin tone since the two shades I've used by other companies are no longer made. I picked this up while browsing at the local drugstore to give it a try since it was much cheaper than my usual foundations. I was very pleased with the foundation. When I first saw it in my hand, I thought "oh dear" as it was a rather gray mess, but once on my face the shade matched wonderfully. Guess that is the "magical transformation" stated on the front of the package. As another reviewer noted, this is not heavy coverage. You can still see some of the flaws your skin has underneath the foundation. To counteract this, I dabbed a bit of concealer on the spots I wanted to cover and then put the foundation on. Works well. For the price, this is excellent coverage.

(More customer reviews)I bought this eyeliner with the matching mascara, and eyeshadow palet for hazel eyes. It works great. It's a nice black color and goes on easily. You don't have to press very hard for a nice line. There's also a built in sharpener at the other end which is pretty handy. It stays on all day, and at night (with the right products) it comes off entirely. I fully recommend it.

(More customer reviews)The felt tip applicator makes this liquid liner a breeze. The consistency of the liquid is nice and fluid, doesn't get tacky like even some expensive brands do. The color is a shimmery black which makes it slight more subtle then a jet black so even when I do something dramatic for a night out it doesn't overpower my eyes. It washes off easily but doesn't come off during a night out of sweaty dancing or when I sleep. I do think Almay should make a Jet black as well for people with really dark skin just to fill out the color choices. But all in all I love this eyeliner and use it daily.

Ran out recently so thought I would give this brand a shot considering the price and that its one of the few companies that offer a face only solution. I cannot believe how much better this product comapres to all the others I have tried. It goes on smooth, it dries quickly, doesn't leave you feeling sticky at all, and there is practically no smell. Last but not least my skin looks better! It actually gave me a clearer and smoother complexion!! The color is nice although it takes at least two applications to get a nice shade going. I cannot recommend this brand enough. I wish I've found this sooner. My hats off to these people for formulating such a great sunless tanner.

I used to use Clarins Selftaning Cream SPF6 which is also excellent, but the price of $32 and is SPF6 only. The smell and affect of this Almay is similar to Clarins but for 1/3 of the price with similar active ingredients :)

(More customer reviews)I bought this on a whim-- I usually prefer Bare Minerals, but I hate carrying BE in my purse because it makes a powdery mess on everything. Plus I wanted a compact with a mirror and something that would travel well, since I am always on the road. Almay is great because I don't get breakouts with their products. My skin is dry-to-combo-dry and sensitive to chemicals and perfumes.
This makeup is FANTASTIC. It doesn't settle in lines, it's true-to-color, and the little sponge has it's own separate compartment from the mirror and the make-up. I love the design-- I hate compacts where you just leave the sponge sitting on the make-up! It's so gross-- bacteria city!
I love everything about this make-up; the only thing you have to be careful of, is that it's pretty pricey for an over-the-counter brand and there's really no way to test the color. I got lucky and mine matched.

(More customer reviews)I have porclein-colored skin, very very light. I also hardly get enough sleep. Because of these two factors my under eye circles are awful looking. Dark purple and blue. I use the Smart Shade concealer mostly to cover up these awful looking things and generally it does a pretty good job. A powder has never done it for me. However, if I put it on my face, wisps of it (after it's rubbed in) turn orange. It's not an awful thing and with a baby wipe you can easily wipe it away, but it's annoying to say the least.
So I stick to using this mainly for my under eye circles and it's just fine for me. I will buy this again, every time.
