The smell is pretty nice, but afterwards I noticed an after smell that was kind of strong. No biggie really, depends on how you do with that.
As far as the color I got from this one, I have to say that it was pretty much the same as what I got from the White 2 Black lotion. The White 2 Black lotion may have given me a bit more color though, but it's really not too much different from it. Basically, pick which bottle you like more, ha ha.
I haven't used many of Devoted Creations products, but so far I am pleased.
