(More customer reviews)I was first introduced to this brand at my local tanning boutique.I tried a sample pack of it,and really liked the results.The salon had it priced for sale at over $50 bucks,so I immediately searched Amazon,and found it here much cheaper.This lotion is excellent for the face.It does not clog pores!It does not smell bad,or cause breakouts.It has a very light bronzing agent,so no yellow or orange results-very even bronzing.I love it!Prevents dryouts during tanning,and moisturizes well.I leave it on for about an hour afterwards.Excellent for the face!

Goes on smooth almost slickery and absorbs right away!!! 3 Stars cuz...I'm tan right now so its hard to tell if this is getting me any darker.....I go in level 3 beds most of the time so I think its helping, but I may just be at my tanning peak.

(More customer reviews)I don't buy my tanning lotions or aftercare on Amazon but I do use this product.
It has a soft slightly floral scent. A little goes a long way.
This lotion is wonderful to your skin. Hours after using it my skin is still soft, I can't help but touch it...lol
There is a slight bronzer in this so you have to have at least a base tan or it gives an odd color to your skin.
Once you have a tan though the bronzers are so slight all they really do is even the tans tone making your skin look kind of air brushed.
I want to mention I do not use an accelerator with bronzers and my tan (although bed) is all real. I am very fair skinned naturally and burn easily. So hopefully this helps you girls out with some info.

(More customer reviews)I admit that it was the Indian/Yoga marketing theme of this line that sold me. I'm really into that stuff but I wish I hadn't bought a whole bottle of this lotion: you might as well apply straight self-tanner and get in the tanning bed because that's what you will smell like when you get out.
California Tan is a decent brand. Not as nice as Designer Skin or Swedish Beauty but better than most. I don't know what they did wrong here but most bronzing tanning lotions do not smell as much like self-tanner as this one does.
I also dislike the consistency: it's very runny.

I'm not sure but it may have been up to 5 years since AG produced this lotion: the packaging is very "2004" to me. I have to assume that's why when I used this lotion, I felt absolutely nothing that could have been described as a blush effect. I think it's expired.

It works ok but i didn't see much difference between regular tanning lotion and this one for the legs. If you need to really focus on your legs. I don't recommend this one.
